The ceremony, held at the Auditorium of Pusat Latihan Kapal Perang Building, Komando Armada II, marked the beginning of the joint exercise between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and TNI-AL. Bandar Seri Begawan, Friday, 1 November 2024 – This year marks the first decade of active service for KDB DARUTTAQWA in the Royal Brunei Navy Fleet. To commemorate her 10th anniversary, KDB DARUTTAQWA's officers and sailors organized a celebratory dinner at Higher Café, Higher Hotel, attended by former Commanding Officers, officers, and sailors who have served on the ship. KDB DARUTTAQWA is the fourth ship of the DARUSSALAM class and was commissioned on 8 September 2014 by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince of Brunei Darussalam and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
